Is an Inspection Necessary?

A recent study determined that a home inspection found an average of over $1500.00 worth of items needing attention. My inspection can assist you in maintaining the health of your home and makes home maintenance easy by catching small problems before they become big surprises. In a short time you'll have a detailed report of the condition of your home so that you can plan for needed repairs and upgrades when it’s time to make them.

When purchasing a home, many home buyers have literally saved thousands of dollars through information provided by me. People who have owned a home for several years have benefited through my knowledge of maintenance, repairs and experienced eyes to avert potential problems.

All houses will have some items, but my inspection will tell you the condition of your house in specifics, tell you of any “surprises”, and will give you peace of mind about the purchase. It allows an informed decision in a purchase

I perform a very important service. I inspect an existing home using professional standards as a measure to accurately report the condition of the home to those involved in the real estate transaction. It is a visual inspection where I report objectively and in writing the condition of all resident home systems as they appear and operate on the day of the inspection.

A detailed inspection usually takes 2 to 3 hours or longer, depending on your home’s age and square footage. You'll need to set up a time for your inspection so you can be present to ask questions and look at areas needing maintenance or repair.
